Job Description:


GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cape Cod Community College is seeking an energetic and driven Enrollment Specialist to help prospective students and families navigate the enrollment process, with an emphasis on working with traditional students and area high schools located on Cape Cod. The Enrollment Specialist will focus on prospective student recruitment and is expected to travel throughout Cape Cod, the Islands and southeastern MA. Given the nature of the enrollment cycle, occasional weekends and evenings will be required. The Enrollment Specialist will develop and execute an effective strategy to recruit first-time degree-seeking students from an assigned geographic territory.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
  1. Serve as a collaborative member of the admission team managing recruitment territory to achieve enrollment goals for the College.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by reaching out to and responding to prospective students and families via phone, text message, letters, email, videoconference, and scheduled appointment.
  3. Meet individually with students to provide in depth information regarding college programs, careers, job outlooks, courses, transfer credit, covering the cost of college and financial aid, and offers guidance to assist students in planning to meet their educational goals.
  4. Conduct admission presentations for visitors on and off-campus.
  5. Attend college fairs and visit high schools in assigned territory.
  6. Provide on-spot admissions activities for the high school recruitment program.
  7. Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, personal schedule, travel, special programs, and professional development.
  8. Work with current students, faculty, staff, alumni and other stakeholders that support the recruitment of students.
  9. Contribute to the overall success of the Strategic Enrollment Management plan and the College by performing other duties as assigned.
  10. Maintain knowledge of academic programs, cost of attendance, financial aid and other pertinent enrollment information to effectively assist students in the enrollment funnel.
  11. Serve on college committees, as assigned.

Requirements:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, Education Administration, or other field related to area of assignment plus 3 years of experience and/or training related to area of assignment, which may include business management, program/project management, education, counseling, student services, or public assistance programs, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  2. Valid Driver's License.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team.
  6. Comfortable with standard office productivity software and complex software such as a student information system or CRM.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Experience with a student information enterprise such as Jenzabar.
  2. Experience using multiple channels for communication.
  3. Experience working with dual enrollment or similar high school programs.
  4. Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population of students.

Additional Information:


COMPENSATION: Full-time (12 months) MCCC/MTA Unit Position (Grade 5, Senior Special Programs Coordinator) with an anticipated annual salary range of $64,292-$74,615. Actual salary will be consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option for membership in the Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
