Job Description:
Oakton Community College Youth STEAM program is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative instructor for spring break STEAM camp. Teach a hands-on curriculum on the subject of Artificial Intelligence. Instructors are responsible for providing high-quality, engaging instruction for middle school-aged children. Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in education and significant experience
- Demonstrated experience with various generative Al tools such as Chat GPT, Stability Al, Midjourney, RunwayML, etc.
- Enthusiasm for hands-on learning and engaging with youth
- Experience with, and excitement about working with diverse learners
- Direct experience teaching youth ages 11-14
- Coding experience
Additional Information:
Hourly: $40-$50 hourly
Must successfully complete a background check.
This position is located on the Des Plaines campus
Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 12 pm. and/or 1:00 pm - 4:15 pm
