The Staff Instructor, under the supervision of the Director of Pre-College Programs, will facilitate and teach academic courses in Tulane University Pre-College Programs. Courses are designed to provide participants with an enriching experience that engages them in a variety of topics and encourages collaboration amongst peers to design solutions to real-world problems. The curriculum and the development of the course will be based on subject standards with an emphasis on project-based learning. In addition to teaching a specifically designed enrichment curriculum, the staff instructor is also responsible for fostering a learning environment where participants can grow personally and academically, continuously monitoring student progress, organizing and supervising both on-site and off-site academic learning experiences, as well as assisting program staff in organizing culminating activities to showcase student projects.
