Post Doctoral Associate

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a postdoc position in Numerical Analysis, to begin in the Fall Term of 2024. The appointment is for one academic year. Responsibilities include conducting research, teaching two courses each term of each year, and participating in research seminars. Candidates from all areas of Numerical analysis are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required prior to the start of the appointment. Applicants should have strong research potential and some form of experience teaching in mathematics.
